We love to support Irish makers, creates and retailers here at Ardmore Jewellery. Not only is it important to buy local to support our fellow Irish business owners but the products are wonderful! So here is a round up of just some of the Irish products we love!
Modern Botany
My mother bought the Modern Botany Oil a few months ago and I started stealing it so regularly I finally gave in and bought my own bottle. This oil is AMAZING. Its all purpose and unisex. I use it on my hair and body and recently on a trip away used it on my face when I ran out of moisturiser. It’s become one of those products I bring with me everywhere. The packaging is so cool and sleek which I love as I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging!
It’s headquarters and in Schull, West Cork and when I visited recently I bought their new product Modern Botany Deodorant. It was expensive, €25 BUT I think it will last ages and I love the brand so I’ll see if I’ll be repurchasing it. I also love that its a spray instead of an aerosol can.

Seavite
I love love love this brand. I love the products, I love the story, everything! The sisters behind this Dublin based business both have masters in Clinical Dermatology and definitely know their stuff and also use seaweed in their products combining science and natural ingredients. I was instantly hooked! Not only are the products amazing but the packaging is BEAUTIFUL. Anything to do with sea and I’m sold. 😂
The products I can’t live without are the the Firming and Toning Body Lotion and the Illuminating and Firming Body Exfoliator. All their products are suitable for sensitive skin.

Foxford Throws

We adore these throws. Bought in our local pottery shop and made in Mayo these throws are very popular and stocked in Avoca stores. We keep these on couches and chairs throughout the house to put on our feet at night because we are clearly old ladies. 😂

BusterBox
A subscription box for dogs. You heard me. This is for anyone out there who is obsessed with their dog, everyone else will think I’ve lost it. If you follow us on instagram you might have seen videos of Minnie opening her boxes. As soon as we welcomed Minnie into our lives I signed up for their subscription box and it has quickly become a source of complete joy and excitement. Like a monthly Christmas (I definitely love it more than Minnie does). They provide toys, treats and other supplies mostly sourced from Ireland and the UK and all their treats are as healthy and organic as possible. This Irish business was previously known as Scoobybox and featured on Dragons Den.

Red Strand Coffee

My new favourite coffee! Hand roasted coffee in small batches its available to buy from farmers markets all around West Cork. I buy these in bulk any time I’m at these markets. Another coffee I’m obsessed with is Red Rooster Coffee also hand roasted in Ireland which is available in select stores across Ireland including Avocas.
