Many of us have old and unworn piece of jewellery tucked away in drawers and jewellery boxes. Remodelling these often sentimental or inherited pieces of jewellery into something new and contemporary will give your jewellery a new lease of life, something you will love to wear for years to come.
For our initial consultation, you will bring all the pieces you would like re-modelled with you. We will test and weigh your gold and examine your gemstones. Some pieces may not be suitable for melting and sometimes gemstones may be broken or chipped. We will advise you on what can be used for new piece and what is best to set aside.
We will take note of the details discussed and prepare sketches and designs. At this stage any details can be altered. Where CAD (computer aided design) is required, for more complex pieces, we will ask for a small deposit at this time.
Once you are completely happy with the design, we will provide you with a written quotation and description of the materials to be used. We also confirm how long it will take to complete the finished piece of bespoke jewellery.
Once you have approved the design, and before we proceed, a deposit of 30% is paid, and then the production begins.
Your piece of re-modelled jewellery will be presented to you in a beautiful Ardmore Jewellery box and gift wrapped if you require.
